Report by Christopher Grimm
Last weekend the first round of Western German Outdoor Championship was held in Sinzig. With new regulations, we had to use 9.5-turn DMC-legal brushless motors and a 5-cell battery pack. I spent the week beforehand testing to find a good setup for the outdoor conditions and motor specifications. The car felt good, so we started this way at Sinzig. At the race, the car felt better with every run without making setup changes, so I concentrated on the brushless components. In the final runs, I started from TQ and set the pace right ahead of the two last German champions Patrick Pasch and Dominik Reschke. I won two of the three heats.

Final results:

1. Christopher Grimm XRAY T2'008
2. Patrick Pasch
3. Andreas Weyhoven
